Covid-19 Safety Guidance
At Robin James our focus is on protecting your health and wellbeing when you are with us. We have put extra measures in place to ensure cleanliness and safety for you and for our teams and we wanted to share this with you before your visit. There is quite a lot of information below, but please do take the time to read this as this is driven by the government guidelines:
If you, or anyone in your household has a high temperature, the recent onset of a new continuous cough, or a recent loss of, or change in sense of taste or smell, please get in touch as soon as possible so we can rearrange your appointment.
Please come to your appointment alone ~ We are unable to accommodate extra guests, children or pets at this time.
Arrive at your appointment as close to your allocated time as possible ~ There is limited opportunity to wait within the salon and you may be asked to wait outside.
Bring as little as possible to the salon ~ Ideally just your phone, purse and keys. If you are wearing a coat, we will supply you with a bag so that you can keep the coat with you at your feet whilst with your stylist.
You will be asked to sanitise your hands when you arrive at the salon
You will be asked to wear a face mask when you are in the salon ~ Disposable masks will be provided for the application of colour if you need one. Please bring your own mask wherever possible.
We are only able to take card payments (no cash) ~ If you require a receipt it will be emailed to you.
We will disinfect between guest visits ~ Your stylist will ensure that between each guest the station, tools and equipment are changed and disinfected. You will be given a freshly laundered or disposable gown to wear and we will be using disposable (biodegradable) towels
Due to current restrictions we are unable to provide the following usual enhancements to your visit:
- We cannot offer you any refreshments (feel free to bring your own drink)
- We are unable to provide Aveda Rituals such as head and shoulder, or hand and arm massages at this time
You will have access in the salon to our new digital magazine platform. If you bring your own smartphone or iPad you can choose from over 50 titles to download and read whilst you are in the salon. Please ask your stylist about this complimentary service.
We are limiting the number of guests in our salons and operating split teams so that we can work longer hours in a safer fashion. We kindly ask that all guests observe social distancing measures whilst in the salon.
Finally, please remember that we are a small local business and really do need your support right now. Besides visiting us, which we hugely appreciate, please consider buying your AVEDA products from us when you visit, we carry a vast range to suit all types of hair.
